We are parents from around the country with a common aim - to try and bring about some kind of change in relation to services provided to children and teenagers with Asperger's Syndrome.
We have now documented our personal battles, stories and tragedies, and thanks to the research psychologist, Anna van der Post - who herself is the mother of an extremely challenging young man with AS - they have now been published in a new book - Children and Teenagers with Aspergers: The Journey of Parenting from Birth to Teens. We are also currently carrying out research into various aspects of living with and bringing up a child with Asperger's Syndrome, and would like to invite you to complete several in-depth questionnaires hosted byViewPOINT.
Only when we are armed with the facts that show the true extent of the problems faced can we hope to engender some change.
