The order arrived quickly and was well packaged using environmentally friendly materials.
The Organic base shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, shower bath, and baby lotion were all tested by a 16 year old boy with extreme sensory issues around smell. He had resisted washing for many years and was ale to tolerate the liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower bath. A slight vegetable oil smell was noted but because the product is washed ff it was tolerable to him. All the products cleaned well and left his hair looking healthy. The lotion had the same slight vegetable oil smell which because it was no washed off he found less tolerable. However, as he is extremely sensitive a child who has milder sensory issues would easily tolerate the product and it left the skin feeling moisturized without being greasy. He was able to tolerate his mother using the product which meant for the first time in yeas she could enjoy a moisturizing cream. . We highly recommend this product and feel that it would also be ideal for anyone with sensitive skin who was concerned by the potential health and environmental effects of more commercial products. A definite thumbs up 9/10
The Lavender bath and shower smelt divine and would be tolerated by children who like the smell of lavender. It left the testers feeling relaxed and was positively received by an adult with severe eczema. It s a lovely product and some children with sensitivity to smells really liked it bu a few of the extremely sensitive were less keen. but not distressed by it.
Mandarin toothpaste – Yum. All but one went for this so if you child is resistant it is worth a try.
Children's Sun Lotion (Lavender) smelt much nicer than the leading brands and is worth a try with children who won't usually accept any protection. Almost everyone who tried it loved the smell and many came back for more despite the weather being overcast. It rubbed in easily and was not greasy. Some of the children who are sensitive to smells accepted this and others were less keen.
No Scent Children's Sun Lotion – was well tolerated by all and for those with sensitivity to smells it has to be the best product we have found to date.
This company ticks all the boxes – efficient, environmentally friendly,ethical and products which do what they say. For those with sensitive skin, sensitivity to smell or concerns about the health implications of some personal care products– then GreenPeople probably have what you are looking for and come HIGHLY recommended.
